A consortium of Lithuania's strongest science and business representatives in 2021 has been nominated by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania to the European Commission as the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) for the Vilnius region. EDIH VILNIUS brings together digital technology expertise and infrastructure to provide digitalization and innovation support and advisory services to SMEs and the public sector.
EDIH VILNIUS focuses on three main areas for the delivery of technological solutions: automation, smart city & smart health.
Vilnius region is witnessing an increase in the demand for such solutions, and the partners of the Hub will ensure that they are sufficiently addressed. Services will range from professional advice and assessment of the level of digitalization of the business to the implementation and deployment of the final solution in the company's processes.
Digitalisation services are being provided by 9 members in a consortium: Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Vilnius University, Lithuanian Robotics Association, Visoriai Information Technology Park, LithuaniaBIO, Center for Physical Sciences & Technology (FTMC), Smart Health Digital Innovation Hub, Vilnius Plan.
Vilnius Municipality is an associate member in the consortium.
